Georgi is a self-taught musician based in Barcelona. He is one of the very rare musicians who can play on Kanun in Spain. Unique in his style, genre and instrument he is reviving the rhythms of the middle east and oriental music. After several years in Istambul, playing with renown names, he is now back to Europe where Georgi makes good example of diversity in music and uniqueness. He is also participant in a project with Jordi Savall, who is playing viola de gamba and is president of centro nacional de Musica Antigua. Several years ago he had made a project in the refugees camps for musicians refugies. Later on the project took bigger shape and included immigrants from the orient and the middle east. This is one of Georgi Biggest prides. With this project he is traveling around Europe. Otherwise he is participating in a sextet of Flamenco and Sefardi Music in Barcelona. But this is not all, he is also jamming with other trios and duos.
